Conceived by the French duo, Interstella is an anime sci-fi adventure set to the music of Daft Punk. Sometime in the future, a popular alien band is kidnapped by an evil pop impresario and spirited away to Earth where they are brainwashed and turned into a completely different group. Reminiscent of the Japanese cartoons of the 60s, the retro-styled animation (designed by Leiji Matsumoto) creates a cult commentary on manufactured pop stars.
