The first official NanimeW anime night was held on Monday, February 10, 2003, at The Font bar, New Wakefield Street, Manchester.
The anime screening program ran from 7:30 PM until 11:00 PM and consisted of:
- Those Who Hunt Elves: episodes 2 & 3 (of 12)
- Serial Experiments Lain: episodes 1 & 2 (of 13)
- Noir: episode 1 (of 26)
- FLCL: episodes 1 & 2 (of 6)
- Macross Plus: episode 1 (of 4)
